Non-Catholics are adopting Lent...
MSNBC.com has an interesting article about non-Catholic Christians utilizing the observance of Lent. It's odd to me that such a thing is newsworthy. Many of us in Christianity have been observing Lent and other "traditions" for quite a while. I find it interesting that Christianity is often chided for being years behind culture, but the media and general public are actually about 3-5 years behind the changing tides in Christianity as well. The article probably doesn't give anything new, but at least the conversation is taking place.
